So have you got Chrome and a Tumblr
Well its simple if you want to turn tumblr into your own desktop application its easy with google chrome.
first go to the tumblr dashboard and then go to
Control Current Page > Create Application Shortcut
Then select Desktop
Drag it onto your quick launch or Dock .
if you want you can add an icon but you should already have one with tumblr
You can also do the same with Mozilla Prism Freeware from mozilla labs
