Web Browsers
There are a lot of web browsers out there but the popular ones seem to be ones from the biggest companies like: Safari, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera.
Opera isn’t as popular due to the company only releasing that bit of software or only being famous for one thing. All the others have released other software, with the exception of Safari which is created by Apple who have released some of the famous hardware in technologic history, e.g macbooks, ipods, etc.
This is the same with Internet Explorer; Microsoft has released Windows computers and also the popular gaming console the Xbox (360).
Mozilla has released Firefox and also an email client called Thunderbird. Mozilla also created Mozilla Labs which has quite a lot of test software that hasn’t been released fully but has been available for download so that people can give their feedback on the product.
Google. Well, Google only released Chrome about a year ago but before that have been famous through their world famous search engine. They then made Gmail which is an online email client. They now range through to Google maps, earth, Ad Sense and they even have a large share in the Video Broadcasting Website, YouTube.
